About

Benjamin Christlieb is the oldest of three. Growing up, he always assumed a leadership role and mentored his siblings which played a large role in who he became as a person and employer. Both of his parents were hard working. They stressed the importance of going after and working for what you want in life.

Class of 2002, BJ graduated from high school in small town Beatrice, Nebraska. Like any kid, he cut lawns back in the day. CTX Mowing was originally a side hustle to earn some extra cash in 2018. He started by helping a few neighbors, caring for their lawns which turned into them telling their friends, and many referrals to follow. At the time, he only had a Jeep Cherokee, a push mower, an electric weed-eater, and electric blower. He loaded it all in the back of the Jeep, tied the hatch down, and drove around Jarrell after his full-time job to mow lawns. The business grew week after week. BJ mowed on his lunch break, after work, and all weekend sometimes. That same tireless work ethic is translated through each employee and every yard.

When he isn’t focused on what his customers and employees need, BJ is spending time with his family. Being a father to little Austyn Rose and baby Thomas Roy comes before absolutely all else.

Being a family man, sports-minded and involved in his community plays a huge role in the way BJ runs his business. He played football in high school and for about 6 years after. He also coached youth sports in Jarrell. He loves traveling, hiking, exploring, and even ran a few marathons in his time.

With his loyal customers and amazing community in mind, BJ’s goal is to continue building CTX Mowing. He hopes to be in the Liberty Hill/ Georgetown area with franchise locations. As everyone in the company learns in the field, they will keep offering new services and better products to customers. The happiness on a customer’s face when their vision comes to life is what motivates the CTX Mowing crew. CTX is proudly part of the Jarrell and Liberty Hill Chambers. Their core values are honesty, integrity, and respect in every aspect of life. At CTX Mowing, the Golden Rule never goes out of style.
